Motif APIUsing slash commands to insert common blocks while staying in the writing flow.
Slash commands allow you to search and insert common blocks of text without leaving the editor. While editing, hit Hit / and start typing, or use the arrow keys to select a block. For instance, type /im
and select Image
so bring up the image file picker.
Slash commands are particularly useful for entering more tedious blocks such as:
/table
– automatically generate a skeleton table./file
- bring up the file picker./image
- bring up the image file picker./current date
- insert the current date./current time
- insert the current time./{/* prettier-ignore */}
– ignore formatting of a block.© 2022 Motif Land Inc. All rights reserved. This site is built with Motif.
